Well you only have 4 fuses. So everything electrical in that is minor.

I know, and I still hate it. I don’t want to restore a 2015 car in 30 years

Did you let all the smoke out yet?

Lucas bullet connectors, with zinc-plated brass in contact with aluminum bullets crimped onto copper wires, are the best idea ever, particularly if moisture can freely enter the ends. Which it can.

As long as you have a good schematic/diagram to work off I really don’t mind electrical work, but getting your hands on a good schematic seems to be near impossible. The one’s in the Haynes/Chilton manuals are severely compromised and hard to follow more often than not and even the internet doesn’t seem to be all that much help.

I dug into that part of my harness a couple of weeks ago. Headlights wouldn’t come on with low beams. Turns out the wire had become disconnected at the turn signal switch.
What year is yours?

‘ Tis easy. Stuff like this pays my bills :) I like automotive electrical. It will either work, not work, or start a fire . Things get interesting with hybrids though.

Mine is a 1978. You mean the switch at the steering stalk?
I don’t have any current going to the the windshield washer pump or the wiper motor, so my stalk could be broken

And now you begin to understand why I charge $175+/hr for electrical.
$ 750/hr for anything British. Momma didn’t raise no fool.

Yes, the switch on the stock. The connectors in there are very small.
Mine is a 90, but it is all the same.
